How do I take care of my pieces?

Your jewelry and sun catchers are made with tarnish-resistant material, and high quality clay, however, it’s important to take care of your pieces properly to avoid the possibility of oxidation, discoloration, or breaks. 

  • Limit your wear to 10-12 hours at a time and store your pieces somewhere dry when not being worn.

  • Be aware that sweat, showering in your jewelry, tanning products and moisturizer will cause wear on your metals over time.

  • Avoid excessive force - this refers to both our jewelry and our sun catchers. Pulling, tugging, or bending jewelry may resort in breakage. In terms of sun catchers, you may notice that our crystals are rather heavy - this means a lot of movement/drops can result in your crystals falling off. In order to ensure your sun catcher stays intact, hang it immediately after purchasing. Be aware, too, that jump rings can open up over time due to constant drops, tugging, or mishandling.

  • Good news, though! As long as you follow those simple rules, our pieces will be with you for the long haul.

What are my pieces made of? Are they handmade?

Our clay earrings, sun catchers, and other earrings are all made with gold or silver plated, hypoallergenic, and nickel free stainless steel. It is important to us that our jewelry is inclusive to all kinds of skin types and sensitivities. As someone who is exceptionally sensitive to metals, it’s important that my pieces won’t cause irritation to anyone else.

Please note* - If you are limited to 24k gold plated jewelry only, please be advised that our metals, although 18k gold plated, still pose as a small risk for irritation. Limit your wear to 10-12 hours.

What if my piece breaks / What is your refund / exchange policy / What should I expect with mailing?

If for any reason your piece arrives broken or damaged, we will send you a replacement free of charge.
If you lose, damage, or break any of the pieces due to lack of care, this will not be replaced without an additional cost. We send out a care card with every item that instructs you to consult the website for in-depth care instructions. It’s super easy!

After you order on our website, you have a 48 hour window for cancellation with full refund offered. After the 48 hours, or after your order is dispatched, refunds are not issued. We offer store credit only.

We ship via Canada Post to maintain our shipping costs. This does mean the packages come without tracking. Canada Post times are subject to change, however, the wait times are approximately 7-10 business days.
